THE URBAN LEGEND

Urban Dog was founded by Donna Harris, a South West London Mum of two, Jacob age 10 years, and Snaffle her beloved Cocker of over 13. Urban Dog organically grew though Donna's love and devotion to Snaffle, and the need to provide him with a selection of services that were not readily available to the standards that she expected.

In today's world we have so many options for the way we choose to live our lives, whether it is eating organically, buying fair trade, using environmentally friendly products or simply looking after our spiritual wellbeing. With this in mind, Donna absolutely knew she could not be the only pet owner with the same exacting demands. This was where it all began!

Donna grew up in Northumberland where a plethora of pets; ponies, dogs and cats were the norm and in later life those not so obvious including arachnids and reptiles. Donna moved to London where she formed a very successful career in Fashion, Donna used her design and business skills to forge ahead with her plan, and after an intensive City and Guilds Course with one of the countries' Top Groomers, Urban Dog was born.

Donna's mission is to provide an incomparable service, where dogs, and other pets as well as owners will all enjoy their time spent with Urban Dog, knowing that they could not receive better individual treatment anywhere else. Donna has a small team of dog lovers, all of whom she has known for several years helping her achieve this.

The Urban Legend continues but sadly without Snaffle, he lost his fight with arthritis and paralysis earlier this year. Snaffle was and is Donna's inspiration; he is sorely missed but is forever in her heart.
